  3.3e Use Analytics to View Student Progress With this standard the use of  information or data gathered, is  to gauge how the  students are  progressing. It assists  in developing assessments that can  track  the  students' progress.   3.3d Use Tech to Meet Student Learning Needs This standard focuses on educators using technology to advance learning that meets diverse learning, cultural and social-emotional needs of each student. Therefore, as the world is evolving into a technological driven place, it is essential for educators to stay current with the technological advancements in education.  Students being engaged in a lesson using technology in the classroom.   As a result of this the College offers several courses where educators and aspiring educational leaders, can enhance their technological skills in an effort to cater to students with different learning styles, in their class and their varying needs.   Students engaged in a technology lesson in the IT lab.

  3.3 c Inspire a Culture of Innovation This standard focuses on the importance of innovation, fostering problem solving and collaboration. The College encourages all educators to be innovative in all spheres. Encouraging innovation can be linked to fostering problems solving skills, not only with educators but their students as well.  It is necessary for educators to become more innovative as their innovations can become essential learning tools for their students. One can note that collaboration among educators, is another key factor which is critical for sharing information, ideas, problems and formulating any needed solutions.   3.3b Build Educator Competency I n this standard emphasis is placed on building the confidence and competency of educators to put the ISTE Student Standard and the ISTE Educator Standards into  practice. Therefore, the many full time course    programmes offered by the Erdiston Teachers' Training College and the wide range of part time programmes, either face to face or online, offer aspiring educators, educators in the system and aspiring educational leaders, opportunities to gain the required knowledge in technology and other areas for their chosen fields through lectures, interactive sessions, professional learning communities and other technological modes of delivering a high standard of education for all involved.
