ISTE Categories 

The ISTE Standards are organized into categories for specific roles in education. These categories guide how technology is integrated into teaching, learning, and leadership. The main ISTE categories and their focus areas are:


ISTE Standards for Students



These equip students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a digital world.

ISTE Standards for Educators

ISTE Standards for Education Leaders



This standard assists leaders in creating environments that support technology enriched learning.

 ISTE Standards for Coaches


In this standard there is guidance for instructional coaches to support educators in their technology integration.

Reflection on Use of Technology in Education  The use of technology in education has transformed the learning landscape,  offering both opportunities  and challenges. Technology has  bridged geographical  and physical barriers, making education  accessible to learners worldwide. Online  platforms provide resources for remote and under privileged  communities .
